solopes Says: A good swim in a calm natural pool, but, I must confess, that if it wasn't the presence of two of the best resorts (my travel agent and friend told me) This beach wouldn't convince me. To lay in a hot soup is not everything!
solopes Says: The long and wide beach is a good place to swim. With small surf or almost none, the waters are shallow and hot. The protection of the reef may cause some algae concentration but with no risk, and not generalised.
solopes Says: The top attraction in Porto de Galinhas are the natural pools in the reef. It is, for sure an interesting trip, but not a good idea to have a bath. The "pool" is small, with a crowd in it, lots of fish, and food, and... some dirt. The best is the fun with the fish around...

This is the most famous and hot point in Porto,all the beautiful people goes there to dance,from Pop to Rock!!
It can take time outside till the doormen take you in,but you won't be regret for waiting!!

Luggage and bags: You don't need to many clothes. During the day you may use anywhere ( except churches)your swimming suit or shorts with a T-Shirt. At night you may keep it or change for shorts /skirt/jeans with a T-shirt or shirt.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Take cotton or linnen clothes. Sandals or other open shoes. A hat will be nice too and sun glasses. You may buy some havaianas rubber sandals pair there for less than 5 Euros.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Repelents and the basic aspirine.Sun protector and After Sun cream. Evan with no direct sun you will get burn if you don't protect your self.
Photo Equipment: Films are expensive there. Bring some from the freeshop or from Recife.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Not even the beach towel is a fundamental piece. You'll get dry fast there. hat and sun glasses.
Miscellaneous: In any acasion drink water from faucets! Buy a big bottle and a litle one. Than Refill the small one before go outside to a long walsk or to the beach.
