We thought it had live music, but the promoted artist was... a disk-jockey.
Somewhat frustrating, but it allowed to verify that it is a selected place, where, when we left, the ratio women-men should be 3 to 1. Maybe later, they got the draw...

If you don't know what to do on sunday night, you should try and find your way to the Pagode called Espaco Aberto. This is relly the best regular party i found in Recife. Beware, it is not a tourist bar and it doesn't provide its safety. On the other hand, I didn't find it to be very dangerous, as there are lots of bouncers and security.
Dress Code: Not sure, don't think there is one.
"UK" is a pub with class.
It hosts a former World Barman Championship runner-up and is a meeting point for Recife's beauties.
It has a good choice of beers, the food (meat dishes, mainly) is very good and there is usually someone serving in each table - in a country where middle-class is inexistent, there are many people serving a few..
Anyway, nevermind these sociological considerations, and have a nice drink at UK!
(Ideal for pre-dinner apetizers)
