Before going to Brasil, a friend of mine told me to try the moqueca do camarao, we asked in our hotel for a good place, and they told us this restaurant, the place is expensive, but very nice. If you like fish you´ll love this pot, you need to be starving if you want to finish the whole pot, delicious!!!

We went to a few restaurants but most were overpriced. They dont really have a lot of resturants near praia brava, I think its better to head out to the surrounding beaches. But if you are near by, the local buffets, you can't loose.

The pastel de camarão, which is fried pastry filled (I mean, actually filled, a lot) with shrimp, is what this place is famous for. You will probably eat it standing up by the counter, but, who cares! Nowhere else will you get this as good as this one!
Box 32 is inside the Mercado Municipal, near one of its coners. people eating there will sit by tiny long legged tables or find a spot on the counter. The chopp is excellent nd since its on a market corridor, every 5 minutes a device sprinkles water over the people (it's like a cloud, not like everyone gets wet or something), which makes everythng more agreeable there.
They also have other dishes, like crab and fish, as well as Portuguese specialty bolinho de camarão (made of codfish).

The picture shows the view from the window, in my opinion this bar and restaurant offer the best view of the city! It is open during the day for meals and at night you can have a drink and listen to live music. Best of all it has parking space, differently from other bars in the region which makes people park along the road causing a huge mess. Great spot!

This is a family style restaurant very popular in Floripa. Located in the Canto da Lagoa da Conceiçao. Saturday and Sunday you can expect lines during lunch time (it doesn't take more than 20min though). The Tainha grelhada is delicious, it is the entire fish grilled served with fries, rice and beans, farofa and salad; that is enough food for at least four people.

So once you visited Sambaqui and had a scoop of how the people linving here are, enjoyed the beach and had your natural juice by the sea it's dinner time. You can choose from all the restaurants by the sea and you're gonna have the most fresh seafood as it can be. Ask for the "Sequência de Camarão" wich is portuguese for "Shrimp sequel",and for a very affordable price you're gonna have an unforgettable experience. They will serve you steamed, fried, and on garlic and oil shrimp. This and the side dishes (such as rice, salad, and depending the place muscles) will get you full for sure!

This restaurant is located at the southernmost part of the island, at a beach called Pantano do Sul (Southern Moore).
In its inside the visitor/customer can find hanging from everywhere written notes, napkins and all sort of paper, each one with a written message from some place in the world.
Favorite Dish: The atmosphere itself is unique, with those hanging napkins.
The food, wow, it is very good. You can have one of the best seafood in town.
It is definitely worth a visit!
