Guarulhos Travel Guide

Honestly, there is not much to do in Guarulhos. This is a huge suburb of São Paulo best known for the factories of international companies and the international airport that serves the big city. One thing to pass the time is to head to Shopping International Guarulhos -- the big shopping mall on Dutra (the highway to S.P.) There is a shuttle bus that circles the city and stops and various hotels including the TRYP, DOLBY, MERCURE & IBIS -- that'll take you there. They're really no deals to be had here -- although the food court is definately interesting as you have a wide variety of foods to taste/try ... outside of the typical McDonalds & Bob's. Try the per kilo foods -- a buffet type where you pay for what you take, not a flat buffet price.
