Osasco is not a touristic place. If you want better options I recommend São Paulo city, just by its side. Anyway, if you want stay around, Osasco has four parks, restaurants, malls, squares and bars. In my opinion, the best place - and the symbol of the city - to take pictures is the Boulevard Ulysses Dante Battiston as you can see in the pictures. It's in front of the city hall. There are some fonts, gardens, the "Hope Arch" and the "Metallic Bridge" by its side.

Bus... It's the best option to go to places in Osasco. If you want to go to São Paulo, you can go by bus or train/subway. Taxis are expensive in Brazil. And if you want to go to more distant cities, there is a interstate bus station in Osasco.

This mall has stores of most of the known popular brandmarks in São Paulo. It aims the middle class families with its 180 stores (among them: Renner, Americanas Express, Mc Donald's, Burger King, Centauro, Fast Shop, etc.), play area and 7 movie theaters of Kinoplex. In my opinion, its environment is more pleasant than the other malls od the city.

In the middle of the crowded downtown, there is a mall called Osasco Plaza Shopping with 200 stores, where you can eat and buy. Nice prices and stores: Americanas Express, TNG, M.Officer, Marisa, Mc Donald's and four movie theaters.

2 movie theaters, 300 stores. Among them: Mc Donald's, Blockbuster, M.Officer, Marisa, Lojas Renner, Colcci, Khelf, Pizza Hut, etc. A more pleasant public than Osasco Plaza. It's in Parque Continental District, exactly in the border with São Paulo, and the biggest mall of Osasco region.

As the whole São Paulo metropolitan area, Osasco is dangerous at night. It's not the most violent city in the region but it's interesting take basic cares (also during the day). Be careful with your wallet at downtown.
