We could ultimately say that Boqueirao is the most populated area of Prai Grande due to its infrastructure and house prices and common driving forces, there is a lot of live concerts by global musicians and there are lots of different activities in the high season, however on a low season there is very little going on. there are plans by the local council to build a water sports park, one of the biggest in South america in Prai grande.

Praia Grande is not known as a beach city that receives large groups of young students for summer holidays. Instead many families come here looking for relaxing days. Therefore, the nightlife is definitely not the highlight of the city.
The best option is to hang around the sidewalk ("calçadão") by the beach, have a few drinks on its kyosks or maybe just sit on one of the benches just to enjoy the warm evening, a good company and waves coming and going in the darkness.
Sounds boring but it can be really nice!!! hahaha
