Ibirapuera Park is one of the favourite places to run in São Paulo. The favourite times are in the early morning, before work, or in the evenings, after work. It is well policed, has changing rooms and is well lit. Enjoy! Theme: Other

I went here when there weren't any games going on however it was still very cool 2 C. There is a museum for the team below an area of the stadium and most of it is a tribute to Pele who played here for part of his career. Pros: Cool museum, great stadium. Cons: Beyond looking around at the different parts of the museum and stadium there isn't a whole lot to do unless there is a game going on, although there is still a gift shop you can visit if you choose to. | | | | Amazing experience for soccer fanatics! | | | | | |
This is a memorable and historic soccer stadium. It is home to Brazil's best soccer team,Sport Club Corinthians Paulista,or just Corinthians. Tickets range from R$ 10.00 to around R$40.00 (or U$5.00 to be in the middle of the Gavioes da Fiel,Corinthians' fanatical supporters, to U$ 20.00 for numbered seats) . It is an experience you will NEVER forget. Just the rythmic chants (gritos de guerra) of the fanatics on the northwestern side of the stands will shock you. It is truly beautiful. Don't be vulnerable in wearing expensive clothing and jewlery (there are people of all social classes that go to matches ranging from lower class,or o povo, to higher classed people. Concluding,it is all beautiful and most of all ,fun. A very important part of Brazilian culture.
Dress very casual,do not bring bookbags because they won't allow you to enter the stadium. Also do bring in flags with flag posts ,which they'll be selling outside the stadium as well. The reason you can't bring flags with flag posts in soccer stadiums in the state of Sao Paulo is because before, fanatical supporters would sometimes bring homemade bombs, weapons, and even drugs to sell during matches.
