A view of the Amazon from the plane window

You can get to Parintins either by plane or boat. Both options have their pros. If you have enough time, choose to take the two-day long boat trip to go from Manaus to Parintins and the plane to go back. The boat trip may be tiring, but you we see the forest from within and will have the opportunity of seeing many small villages in the branchs of the river. The flight will provide some awsome birdeye views, During Festival times, there are plenty of flight options, even by regional or national air companies. Most of them will fly in low altitudes in order to let the passengers to appreciate the views.
