Three days before and one day after the fool moon, there are walking tours to the waterfalls... The experience has to be breathtaking, but I could not do it... :-( I was there during the fool moon, but the night I had the occasion to take the tour, it was so cloudy that the tour was canceled!
Tres días antes y un día después del plenilunio se realizan paseos a las cataratas a la luz de la luna... La experiencia debe de ser impresionante, pero no pude hacerla... :-( Estuve allí durante la luna llena, pero la noche en que tuve la oportunidad de hacer el paseo, estaba tan nublado que el paseo fue cancelado!

You're not going to find any incredible nightlife here, but that's not why you're here. The best place to go in the area is to Avenida Jorge Schimmelpfeng in Foz do Iguacu where you'll find some nice outdoor restaurants and bars that serve decent food and good chopp (draft beer). As you walk down the street, just look at the outdoor patios to see where the action seems to be. Some of the restaurants will have music playing so check in and see if it's live entertainment or if it's coming from the stereo system.

Argentinian Tango - Brasil Samba and "Harp" Playing from Paraguay .
A great show - performed during diner at a famous restaurant - i forgot the name - but no wonder seeing this spectacular show !

There are a couple of hot dance spots in Foz that offer techcno and dance music, with mostly a younger croud.
There are several night clubs in the immediate area of the falls, but most of them offer only entertainment for men.
