    One of the best restaurants with regional food from Rio Grande do Norte is the "Mangai".It was voted one of the 10 best restaurants in Brazil from various magazines there.This restaurant is a little bit far from Ponta Negra beach, more in the centre of the city (best is to take a taxi to there) but sure worth a visit!
    It serves wonderful food in buffet/self service style, so you can taste all the delicious plates and dishes you want for a relative cheap price!

    • In my opinion the best of Natal. Excelent service and delicious food.
    The decoration of the restaurant is also very nice. There are always a lot of people there. So if you don't want to wait, just come a little bit earlier or later than the dinner time.

    No os perdáis los restaurantes del paseo marítimo de Ponta Negra, a 13km de Natal. En todos podéis comer muy bien y a precios módicos. No dejéis de probar los frutos de mar y pescados brasileros... con leche de coco están de muerte!!!!

    Peixe de moqueca, camarão ao coco. Mmmmm.... deliciosos!!!

    • Tabua de Carne is a nice local retsaurant just off the Praia Shopping in Ponta Negra. This place specializes in meats (especially, carne do sol) and its prices are ridiculously low.

    Carne do sol - this is a nice file, weighing approximately 800 grams, and it literally melts in your mouth - it's that juicy and tender!

    Excellent service, excellent food and reasonable prices. We visited some 14 restaurants in the Ponta Negra area and this was ranked the Best.

    If you think about dinner for two person:
    - drinks for appetizer
    - self service appetizer table
    - fish or meat main course
    - bottle of good red wine
    - desert with Ferreiras
    - a couple of expresssos
    for about 60 euros.

    Reasonable, isn't it.Absolutely you have to take the appetizer table. You can eat it with eyes and the taste is fantastic.

    Fast food pizzeria in downtown. Self service appetizer table and pizzaz varies from small to extra large. Medium is quite suitable for normal hunger. And of course you can take the rest with you in doggy bag.

    Try for example Frango catupiri or camarao catupiri.
