Pipa has lots of shops and Brazil is well known for its good shopping, which is usually very inexpensive. The main things to buy in Pipa are bikinis, t shirts, "hawaianas" ( rubber slippers) and handcrafts. These are usually very nice.
What to pay: There is no bargaining in Brazil usually but most people, specially those vendors in the beach selling their things will be happy to offer you an aditional bracelet or any other small thing if you buy them two or more items.
Here is a picture of a Pipa main street, as you can see Pipa is not a big place, but that´s why it is sooo cool!
Shops are located along this main route.
We bought few paintings, woodworks - forexsample really nice colorful fish decoration made out of palm tree, clothes etc.
WOW,it was a paradise for girls like us,that even that we brought ALL the bikinis we had home,I don't know why,we needed new ones!!!
There was a shop where the bikinis were handmade painted,it was just fantastic,we couldn't stop buying!!
Another shop I loved was a local craft, with indians faces on paints and wood sculptures!!
What to buy: BIKINIS GIRLS,BIKINIS!!
Local crafts with the money you could save, after the bikinis!!
For bikinis go to: " FEITICO DA LUA " SHOP and " TIMONEIRO LA PLAGE".
For local crafts,go to: " ATELIER AFRO-BRASILEIRO ( the artist,Severo, will be pleased to show you his works! ),and " CARACOL ARTEMANIA ".
