i just came back from Curitiba in parana state, being all over Brazil ;so if for the first time, i would go to the south, Curitiba and Porto Alegre with a pass by Florianapolis on the ocean. Very nice area, spectacular scenery,good food,and great parks. The nightlife is always Brazilian but with a much better level of security than on the north.

just a quickie for those who need a YF vacc. while in porto alegre.These are given for free at Salgado filho airporto(airport), edificio garagem.you can take the T5 bus from the city centre, or alternatively a taxi which is much more costly. Leave a Comment

And to see a soccer match at the Olympic Stadium defies description ... for the first timer though make sure you do NOT go to a match against Colorado. Violence is almost guaranteed.
The food (Churrascarias) and the drinks (cachaca) .... both are just excellent and not found exactly like this anywhere else in the world! Leave a Comment
