Can't remember....but it's the only one tha I saw.: Pê, Pererê, pê, pê, pê, pê !!!!!!!
It's a small music shop in Downtown Búzios, I guess is the only one....or at least was the only one when I went. But they have quite a good selection of Brazilian music.
What to buy: Ivete Sangalo, Daniela Mercury, Djavan, Joao Gilberto, Maria Betanhia, Gilberto Gil and more!!!!!!. I also bough a CD of "Armonia do Samba", this is a popular group that lift your dancing spirit!!!!!!!!. I just love listening all these music !!!!!!!!!!!!.
What to pay: CD's there are quite cheap, at least cheaper than in Chile. For a Brazilian CD you pay 20 Reales (US$9.00)
Rua das Pedras: Rua das Pedras
This stoned-style street closed for cars is the heart of the commercial life of Buzios. There are several stores for clothing, jewellry, ornaments and souvenirs (although in Rio de Janeiro are cheaper), mixed with restaurants, internet cabines and discos.
What to buy: I would recommend you to buy stuff that you cannot find anywhere else, like T-shirts with the name of Buzios and so on. The rest, like ornaments or gems can be easily bought in Rio de Janeiro, in the Copacabana fair.
TEPÓ - THE SUN OF OUR HERITAGE: BRAZILIAN INDIAN ART
Buzios is a land of great surprises, everytime we go there there is always something new to see and experience. And I found out something which is more than a single art store. I would say it is a cultural centre where you can get the best of our native arts.
TEPÓ..which means "SUN" in Krenac Indian Language...We still have indians in Brazil with strong traditions and beliefs, and this tribe located in the interior of Minas Gerais State, to be more precise, in the towns of Governador Valadares and Resplendor, they still keep their simple daily life since the discovery times, and you can have their art crafts in this incredible store managed by Christian and his family.
That family is highly concerned to promote genuine brazilian culture and make it easier for you!
Buzios is there for you to enjoy the best of our ocean beauties, but also, Buzios try to explain in a very short time what Brazil can be for you, and nothing better than getting to know our traditions and many influences that made Brazil such a magnificent land!
What to buy: This is the chance for you to get very primitive native objects, unique artcrafts fromBrazil that you can have at home! Crafts from local brazilian arts. you can also find nice small furnitures designed by indian tribes!
Right behind the store, there is a big secret...a lovely and relaxing guest house where you can stay with private and confort!
What to pay: They have crafts for all kind of budgets, it really deserves a visit, and you will see much more they have to offer!
TEPÓ - A SHELTER OF THE "SUN" IN BUZIOS: A TRIP TO OUR EXOTIC CULTURE
No...There is no Rain Forest in Buzios, but there is a way fro you to be in touch with teh brazilian indian culture in your holidays in Buzios.
Incredible and rustic crafts can be find in this little charming store!
Tepó is a way that you will have to be in touch with a different brazilian profile!
The owners can give you unique tips about a Brazil that you will never imagine to hear, a great stop for a little chat, and also for you to buy very interesting crafts away from the touristic stuffs!
What to buy: All crafts are laboured by native artists...I usually visit the store to see something new!
What to pay: As I said above, all prices for all budgets, there is always something exotic and unique to buy!
Find your own stile: Buzios shopping
In Buzios you can find different styles but they are all bealtifull, they are really prepared for hot weather.
What to buy: You can find clothes that gives you the sensation that you are wearing nothing.
Sandals are unique over ther you can find handcraft sandals, you can find havaiana's in good price.
The main street is Rua das Pedras but try all around there are plenty stores near Rua das Pedras.
What to pay: In fact the price is nice comparing to Sao Paulo city.
