Basically all the city centres are not personal, not informal, not relaxing....In big cities I think that the most interesting urban city centre is Curitiba's. But in BUZIOS...oooh God...this is the city centre of the village!
Armação dos Buzios!
Tell me what do you think?????

PRAIA DOS OSSOS
On the top of the Buzios church you can spot the peaceful corner Praia dos Ossos, it is another place where people keep their boats in the yatch club, and also a very charming village which makes the way to Azeda and Azedinha Beach possible!
It is a very nice place for pictures and a great place to relax in front of the green grass of the church little square!
The picture is great and I even got Marcio very impressed with the scenic beauty!
I loved that weekend alot, we spent almost 4 days there!
Ossos in portuguese means bones, and this place has its name because some years ago, and am talking about only 70 years, this is where they cut the meat of whales hunted in Buzios shore. Do not worry nowadays to hunt whales you simply cannot, you pay a huge fine and you spend the rest of your years in jail. It is completely forbidden in Brazil. WE ARE MODERN!
It is a pety that some people in japan do not think this way!

ARMAÇÃO DOS BUZIOS
It is the city centre of the small village of Buzios, this is where you will find the main pier, the main stores of Buzios at Rua das Pedras. Adn you can see the slow daily life of Buzios, full of fishing boats in the Bay.
Buzios is a place for fun, you should see it for yourself!;)

GLAD TO BE IN TARTARUGA
It is a calm beach, one my favourite beach in Buzios, it is always a pleasure to go there, faraway from our urban busy life, if you really go there you will see many wonderful things. It is a quiet place for you to live your privacy!

It is the beach where all the boats tour in Buzios stop, it is indeed a very beautiful beach and actually the second wildest beach in Buzios in my opinion, the restaurants are local, the owners are native so the sea food is special, and they also make excelent barbecue!
The beach is calm and the water totally clean!
Tartaruga means TURTLE!
Azedinha is one of the beaches closest to the city centre, a charming corner called Armação dos Buzios in the left edge of the little inlet Bay, it is also close to the Buzios' graveyard in the back of the old church!
Very calm waters, clean waters and peace!
Marcio was there with me and we had a great time, this picture is really nice and I want to share the photo with you!

The biggest beach of Buzios, it's usually full of people. The sand is a bit hard but the ocean is amazing. Sit at a table or find a spot in the sand, either way, you'll have a great time. Don't hesitate to try some new food that is passing on the way.
Downtown, located next to Canto beach, is the heart of this little place called Buzios. Its life comes from Rua das Pedras and surroundings' activity. In here you can find several types of restaurants (from Mc Donalds to gourmets) discos for all tastes (from the mexican-styled Zapata to the all-night samba Fashion Cafe) and shoppings mainly for clothing and souvenirs. It is also the getaway for the escuna (boat) trip to some of the 24 beaches that Buzios has. The Queen Lory's trip is the most recommendable one (see tip below).
This beach is the one that baths the coasts of downtown Buzios. Its waters are turquoise and also warm, although it doesn't have the wild surroundings of other beaches.
On the contrary, all of the houses, restaurants and discos along the coast, as well as all of the escunas and fishers' boats stopped in it makes of Canto more a port than a beach. Great beach for starting your ride by boat to other beaches or just for sightseeing.
I could enjoy of this calm, warm-water beach because of the excursion with the escuna (a boat that takes tourists into a number of beaches). Then it stopped in front of it for visitors to get into the water and swim a bit.
By the way, swimming in here could be more delighting than in Joao Fernandes or Joao Fernandinho, where the waters are much colder.
What I also liked of this beach is all of the vegetation that surrounded it, giving the sensation to be in a lost paradise in the middle of the jungle. Other beaches like Geribá or Joao Fernandes (which have more houses and restaurantes built along its coasts) doesn´t have that much of vegetation.
It's one of Buzios' biggest beaches and (at least to me) the best to enjoy. The time I was there it was not crowded, the hostels are from two blocks away from the beach but not in the beach and a few restaurants and huts to take some refreshments. It is suitable for swimming and bathing, however, it is also popular to do surfing.
