  • Snorkleing in Buzios

Snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of Buzios. It was special because, I swam with a turtle and fed the tropical fishes at sea. An exhilarating experience !

  • Choose your beach

Buzios is a peninsula, with beaches all around (26 I think!), suitable for all the tastes, except for those who like cold water - we don't. So, in the few days we spent there, we tried several places, all reasonably warm (considering that we were in winter) and, with ease, visited all the peninsula.

Bùzios Restaurants

  • Trendy Italian and Local

There are literally hundreds of places to eat and drink in Buzios. The vast majority are only just of marginal quality since the average tourist will dine at each restaurant just once before leaving town, therefore they don't worry to keep repeat business. Mr Brad restaurant is a good restaurant, but not great. The service is average for local...

  • Expensive but good Kilo place

This is a very nice Kilo place so it's obviously not as cheap as most. You have everything you can imagine to choose from. It does cost about R$3.30 per 300g but it's worth it. The food melts in your mouth. The steak is a bit fatty at times but the Sushi is very good. The different pastas are also wonderful.

The result is cheap, authentic Thai that is...

And even by day, by car, on foot or by boat, it's the central attraction of Buzios, and the main commercial area. For what we saw in winter I can imagine what happens in summer...

This loud and open establishment has a full bar, many tables, and wide open spaces for mingling. I can't say anything about the food because I never ate here, but Chez Michou opens late in the afternoon, and is decorated with enlarged illustrated posters of American icons (Louis Armstrong, Mick Jagger, Jack Nicholson, etc.) and lighted trees.
