We bought a few coolers at the small shop inside the mall and headed to the beach. It was dark and people still milled about. A trolly of all the super hereos and disney was ammusing. Superman, WonderWoman, Daffy, Mickey Mouse, the list can go on. Fairswheel music played from your grandads wooden speakers that sit on all four corners of the roof. Every night we stayed there was things happening.. A huge open air flea market, selling local crafts to fake watches. It's great to people watch here. See how the locals live while on holiday. Our first night here was chilling out under the Brazilian cool air, and watching young children play soccer.

As mentioned million times before,I never stay in Rio for carnaval, and the refuges usually are Arraial,Cabo Frio(Buzius never too..)or Paraty.
I really like carnaval here for its mix of a lot of people but keeping it harmonic and not too crowd to make it looks like the famous.."too much apples you can't see the tree"..
"CaboFolia " is the name of the celebrations, along the streets or at the clubs!
There are plenty of places to eat out and most of them have the "distict" Cabo Frio flavour!
Tuna is on most menus and is as good as only fresh fish can be.
I suggest trying one of the local Cabo's restaurants for rice and beans as well - it's worth it!
