As always, my tip to you is to make sure you pack just a carry-on if you are going for less than 7 days. I never understand why travelers believe they need to carry 8 pairs of shoes for a vacation trip! Pack what you need into a small suitcase, and move on. Sarah and I were able to do 9 days in Rio and Iguassu with a backpack each, and one carry-on suitcase. No checked bags equals no lost luggage! The weather was beautiful a couple days, and very rainy another in July. I would recommend bringing a raincoat, but make it light as it was still quite warm. Also, make sure you pack a couple pairs of extra socks if you will be hiking/walking alot. Nothing worse then wet socks!
