Good option for having a drink, talking, listen to some music, dancing and hanging out.
There are 2 floors, first floor, you got the dancing floor with DJs that play all kinds of music, including dance music, hip-hop, etc.
The launge on the second floor is also a confy space for hanguing out while having a drink and you can just chill… Very pleasant.
The house drinks are very good, like the : baronneti, baronesa e lagoa azul.
This is not a club with a huge dance area, crazy lights and smoke. It has more of a lounge club feel to it and is not especially large. However, when we were there the music played was top-notch, (DJ on hand providing lounge-type music early on and then ramping up to a harder dance beat).
Once the night progresses there is plenty of dancing going on and it doesn't get too cramped. Door policy is fairly restrictive, so bring your identification and your patience.
It is not a large place from the outside and so very easy to walk past without realizing. Worth a visit for sure and just like most places the quality of your night depends largely on the friends you arrive with and the people you meet.
Dress Code:
Trendy, but nothing excessive. Put it this way, shorts and flip-flops will have you admiring the exterior architecture of the building until 4am.
nice place, try to get on the guestlist for fast entrance. but don t touch somebodies else drink, or even watch it, unless you want problems with the security. THAT S NOT THE WAY YOU TREAT COSTUMERS WITH GOOD INTENTIONS !
Dress Code:
Dressed (read: sexed) up
Copacabana is not great for clubbing (unless you want the strip clubs near the Meridian Hotel at the top end of the beach). At the other end on the border with Ipanema are 'Bunker 94' (techno and grunge, depends on the night, 3 dance floors - quiet good) and 'Dabilu' (as in 'W'), more up market, house and garage. There are a couple of other places that play more rock type music with a mexican style, Cozumel (nr Jardim Botanico) and Guapo Loco (Leblon). Some of the best clubs are out of town in Barra (pronounced Ba-ha), about a 20min taxi ride the other side of Leblon. There there is 'The Bedroom' which is up market and plays good house and 'Nuth' (pronounced Nooch) which has the added attraction of a tropical garden, the music is a bit more varied.
