Uma das poucas boates dedicadas a musica eletronica no Rio, todo fim de semana, noites com Drum´n´Bass, Trance e techno
One of the few night clubs in Rio totally dedicated to electronic music, on the weekends you always have Drum´n´Bass, Trance and Techno, home of Patife and Mark DJs when they are in Rio
This place is not quite as flash as Nuth or Baronetti, but is still worth the visit. Be warned as once it gets busy the people just keep coming through the door.
The music is good and there are tables out front, outside that can be a nice alternative. There are VIP sections available, as with most clubs, that you may be able to talk yourself into getting if you have a large enough group (6+). Unlike a VIP section in the US, which will break the bank, these can be well worth it.
Bunker 94. This place seemed to be a little bit too young for my taste. There were kids waiting in line to get in. It's one of the few places that cater to the trance/electronica/house/ alternative crowd (many Rio clubs tend to play American Rock n Roll) so we thought we'd check it out. I was hoping to listen to some down tempo/world mix like Claude Challe/Budda Bar. However, we didn't go in because the crowd seemed too young and the line was long. We went to Casa da matriz instead. There is another place called Cozumel. It was a nice happening place with a lot of well dressed young people. Very 'yuppie'. I don't like to be around my own kind in clubs and the music there was too much of a rock n roll/pop mix so we quickly left. We went back to Emporio and had a great time.
