Feira do Nordeste, Rio de Janeiro
This is the place where you can see everything you would expect to see in Brazil, a Brazil made for brazilians and a Brazil made by brazilians....THIS IS WHAT I COULD CONSIDER A REAL BRAZIL because people from every State of the country gets together over there.
All ages, no matter if you are young or old...all you like doing is having fun, and fun you will have...HEAPS OF FUN!!! (too aussie, eh?)
In this place you will see many different traditions and you can also use a typical bushmen hat from the North East....what we call:
CHAPEU DE CANGACEIRO
CHAPEU DO SERTÃO
CHAPEU DO AGRESTE!!!
Just try to go there and you will see that it will be a plus in your trip!
At this night I was with my beloved "CARIOCA MOTHER" Stella, indeed she is Rafael's mother and you will see a lot more about her in my pages, at least for the moment we share the same house!;)
Dress Code: Dress code????? OHHHHH B..u...l...l....s...h...i...t!!!
Maybe you will find nothing writen about this place, but it is very popular in the city...Rio is a big city and the second most important city in the country after Sao paulo, so it is natural that people from other State come to Rio to start life seeking for better conditions of working, it is something about migration.
Most of people who come to Rio coming from other States are from the North East, and in in Rio there is a place that they can live their tradition, they find their music, they find their own traditional stuffs to buy, they eat their own food and the whole place is a total party!
It happens in every week from thursday to sunday non stop
