WOW..Three letters I must use to describe this Club/Bar/Restaurant/Beautiful women headquarters. I know where they go for convention in RIO. This is located in the area of Barra de Tijuca which is about 20 minutes drive from Ipanema. This club is unbelievable. Just to give you an idea of what I am talking about(see Picture). You will meet the most outgoing, friendliest people you will ever encounter if you are a Barfly. oh yeah..the music is banging too, HIP HOP, TECHNO(which I could care less),and Brazilian Music. There is a $20(US) entrance fee and the place does not start hopping til about Midnight. It is open until 4 or 5 in the morning.
Dress Code:
Jeans and nice collared shirts for dudes and Nice dressy skirt or jeans for girls.
Great atmosphere, trendy crowd and a little bit of everything. #1 priority is "get there early", as in before 10pm, otherwise getting in may become harder than getting in to see the Pope. The door policy will let the VIP guests in first, then couples, then groups of girls and last AND least a group of single guys. There is a dining area upstairs that is small but nice and the building itself has an outdoor and an indoor section. It is not big inside, but never gets too packed (thanks to the door policy). Music inside changes from either a band or lounge music early on to more of a club / dance feel later in the night. Bring identification (a must) and a Mastercard or Visa (which makes it a lot easier to pay your tab when you leave). This is also without a doubt where the beautiful people go. For the single guys out there bring a napkin so the drool won't be so noticeable. First night there we didn't leave the place until 6am.
Dress Code:
Trendy, but you don't have to over do it. Jeans, shoes and a decent shirt or t-shirt is fine.
Beautiful lush garden club with a cool, hip atmosphere. By far the most beautiful girls I've seen in one place anywhere in the world. Dance floor. After paying a cover, you're given a card to record all your drinks, which you pay for at the end of the night. We went on a wed, and there was a live band early, then DJ. Get there early to avoid line.
Dress Code:
Trendy, fashion
Beautiful place with beautiful people, there was a good electronical samba life band when i was there....the cover was 50 R$ but 35 R$ you could spend drinking, so it was not too bad. Great place for Wednesdays, be there early (before 11 pm) otherwise you will wait for quite some time in order to get in.
Dress Code:
Dress to impress. Nothing required though
It is a private club. A girl that works there personally chooses which people can come inside. It's bad if they don't let you in, it's good if you do get in. They say that if you come earlier (before 11 pm) then your chances of getting in are better. Since I couldn't speak any Portuguese, they probably let me in because I'm from out of town. It is a very nice club, with a little outdoor area and a fountain, also a 2 story indoor area. The 2nd floor overlooks the dance floor. Oh yeah, and the music...when I went on a Friday they were playing techno music. And age range, it looks like the age range is about 25 - 35 years of age.
Dress Code:
I wore a skirt and a sleeveless blouse. I'm not sure what the dress code is. They have many pictures of people on their website where you can view what people are wearing.
