When you're not in the mood for the all you can eat steak pigout kind of meal, there are tons of these standup snack bars serving a quick bite to eat. On our first day in Rio, we stopped at Eclipse on the street behind our hotel to grab a snack before heading to the beaches. For just a couple of dollars, we got a huge slice of pizza and a really tasty shrimp tart
It is a restaurant, it is a bar, it is also a very pleasant meeting point, one block from the beach.
You can have lunch or dinner any time, it has many different ambiences for your leisure time or when you come back from the discos, you can stop there for a quick meal.
They also have a large variety of tropical juices and very nice cocktails.
ECLIPSE IS FAMOUS IN COPACABANA, it is located at NOSSA SENHORA DE COPACABANA AVENUE CORNER WITH JULIO DE CASTILHOS STREET, in the end of Copacabana beach.
It is one of the best local place for eating that you can find in Copa!
Favorite Dish:
A single hamburger is delicious and they give you french fries for free.
Met a bunch of cool people here and the restaurant is 24 hours. We went there to watch the soccer game and it turns out everyone else had the same idea. The food is really, really good and the staff was all very helpful even they were really getting into the game with the rest of us. After the game we decided to come back later in the even to try something else on the menu and it was just as good. We ordered way too much food and took it back to our room and it was even better later in the night!
