Let loose and get to know Brazilian culture and the “Cariocas” (The name of a person born in Rio de Janiero!) to make the most of your vacation. Copacabana is centeraly located in Rio it is where the rich and poor all mesh together and come together to play. It is a wonderful place to walk along and see the black and white sidewalks, the individual people selling things, resturants and of course play in the ocean. Leave a Comment

Copacabana is one of the main residential zones in Rio, and is primarily upper middle class. Most of the nicer zones in Rio look like this: highrises against background of steep black mountains. Leave a Comment

Copacabana is the world's most famous beach going there is a must. The water is cool even in the summer (December) b ut not to cool to tolerate. The waves are supprisingly rough for a place at 21 degrees south so keep that in mind. Leave a Comment

Copacabana it’s an amazing sandy beach even thou the waves are pretty high depending on the time you go!! There are bars all throw the beach where you can eat and drink!! There are people that do around the beach selling food, drinks and many other things, make sure you know the average price of things you might buy as they will try to charge you more if they know you are a tourist!! Beach chair cost around 3 to 5 reais so don’t pay more than that!! Leave a Comment Address: Rio de JaneiroDirections: Copacabana

Hang out on the beach and drink coconut milk, or "agua de coco" as it is called in Brazil. Leave a Comment

If you are a runner, a lovely way to experience the beaches is to get up early in the morning and run from Copacabana Beach to the end of Ipanema Beach (I think it's about 7 miles). There is a marked place on the road for runners and bikers to keep you safe from traffic. You will see so many sights and such a variety of people-- sandcastles, volleyball games, unlimited vendors and artists, sandwich and coconut stands--, and you get some excercise at the same time! Directions: Copacabana to Ipanema

In Germany, there aren´t many places you can go to for a plastic surgery, or one where the results are completely satisfying. After much online researching, I found many results, and most of these seemed to be directed to a clinic in Brazil. That didn´t impress me, seeing as people there tend to be very beautiful, so I looked into some sites for further information and eventually found one which included the best deal, called Cosmetic Vacations. I contacted them and they helped plan my trip thoroughly, with flight and accomodation expenses included and taken care of, as well as someone to personally assist you in the pre and post operation process. The results were more than satisfying and they´ve won a customer in Germany. Address: -Directions: -

In other countries around the world one would like to seek an isolated beach to relax - not so in Rio de Janeiro. Here it is beach culture and one goes to the beach to meet, mingle and party. Hence the beach is packed to the last spot. Various sections invite various crowds of people - and it is the place to be in Rio during the day!! Leave a Comment
