Take care with taxis. If they notice you are not native they may take you to a forced tour...But all you have to do to avoid it is to call taxi agencies.
Take care about asking informations out of hotels and tourism agencies.
Don't use jewels and don't stop to answer anything downtown or in Copacabana on the streets
