Calçada da Fama: Pedestrian Street Shops
The Calçada da Fama (Walk of Fame) is not like the one you'd think of in Hollywood, but it is rather a popular street with shops and street vendors.
There are lots of boutiques selling clothes, lots of shoe stores, a few beauty salons, etc. The pedestrian street is always busy with people and is sometimes less of a place to go shopping, but more of a place to be seen.
What to buy: There are clothes, shoes, souvenirs and foods. It is a pedestrian walking street with lots of options.
What to pay: prices are typical store prices

Feirinha de Teresopolis: Outdoor Clothes and Crafts Market
Near the southern end of town in the Praça Higino da Silveira, this outdoor market has a lot of local crafts, clothes and food. It is relatively small, which fits the motif of the small town, but it offers a sampling of everything.
What to buy: There are clothes and typical crafts at reasonable prices. Prices will be less than what you'd find in Rio for example.
There are also some food stalls that sell things like tapiocas and crepes.
What to pay: Prices really depend on what you're going to buy, but will be less than what you'd find in Rio for example.
