I was tempted click the "department store" button for 'type of shop' when building this tip since this little store (lojinha) has a little bit of everything. There's an ice-cream freezer, a soda counter, a rack with flip flops, various t-shirts and sundry other items on offer.
What to buy: Most importantly, this is the ONLY place in the village to get any kind of over the counter medication. In my case, I needed some dramamine to counter the effects that too many caipirinhas the night before combined with a choppy boat ride the morning after had on the the breakfast that I had eaten (and which thereby became fish food).
What to pay: About double what you'd pay on the mainland.

If you're the type of shoppingmachine,this is certainly not the place,leave your consumism disease at home!
Shopping here is almost non-existant,there are some places near the port and also in the village.
There is an official handcraft center what was closed for restoration when we were there!
