Avoiding trouble

by Elainehead

- Don’t wear or carry valuable or ostentatious items. You are less likely to become a victim if you do not have anything worth stealing in your possession. - Be aware of the street environment. If you notice someone watching or following you, enter a store or a crowded area immediately. - Avoid troubled areas such as favelas (slums) and low-income neighborhoods.- Drive with windows closed and doors locked.- Don’t resist robbery attempts.
