One night the moon was full but it didn't look right. I didn't see 'the man in the moon.' Finally I turned my head sideways. Aha! There he was. The moon looks different in the southern hemisphere because it is viewed from a different angle. This is due to the lunar paralax. The cultural part here is that the locals call the image on the moon 'el burro en la luna.' (the donkey on the moon.) Look carefully, you will see the donkey's ears.Donkey on the moon or man in the moon....it is still as beautiful.
