Santiago:The main hang out district is Suecia's Avenue. Lots of pubs and places with live music and people from different countries.Bellavista district's another option, it's a bit more 'casual' also a bit more dangerous.Uptown, there are some good places, at Paseo San Damian, and others at Vitacura Avenue.Santiago offers a wide range offer. Electronic music, jazz, rock, alternative.. the thing is to find your place! Casual dressing for most of places.

My favorite nightlife spot is la cama. Not really into drinking or nightclubs, we do enjoy going out into the city at night just to walk around. Not a very exciting travel tip, but one should never go out alone, especially the ladies.

Maestra Vida: Salsa dancing in Santiago

by jsepulve

If you enjoy Salsa dancing this is a good Salsateca in Santiago. There is good music and a good atmosphere. I really dont think there is a dress code, it is pretty laid back.

many nice clubs

by McCallister

although I can recall the names of the clubs, there were many and some have local shows performed in local costumes and music.
