Go 2 Pomaire, pottery-making town. Street market!

by Ames24

Well first of all a visit to Pomaire was recommended to me by a Chilean professor of mine. It's a town famous for all its pottery and such products. It's not a big town, but once you get there you find one or two very long street-long markets, both sides all the way down -- lots of really nice, neat, things from pottery to toys or gadgets to little instruments and purses or clothing items. And most things are not very expensive at all.

The coastline is beautifull.

Walk along the coastline, for example near Valdivia. We took a taxi to a point along the coast and walked back to the nearest town. There we had a great lunch in a fish restaurant and took a bus back to Valdivia.
