Great atmosphere. There are mostly public seating, basically one large, long table so you are sitting all together. Pizza is great and nice beer selection. I've seen reviews where many hikers and backpackers come here after returning from Torres Del Paine. Looked for touristy and family oriented place to me.
This is a very small restaurant, maybe 5 or 6 tables. But the food is great and it feels like eating in someone's house with great home cooked meals. I eat here three times. Wish I was back!
Favorite Dish: The hamburger is hand made with spices and veggies mixed in. It was incredible!
This restaurant actually serves African and Patagonian fusion cuisine, hence Afrigonia. The decor was simple, with some African influence such as the wooden giraffe napkin holder.
We tried the salmon cerviche, king crab (austral king) appetizer, the lamb, and shrimp and scallop curry. I also had the mango pisco.
My friend and I were the most impressed with the king crab mousse served with natural king crab, kiwi, and calafate sauce. It was really fresh and flavourful. The salmon cerviche is interesting - also very fresh, but it was a bit too sour for our taste. The lamb was nicely marinated and cooked, tender and juicy. The curry was just OK, mainly because it was not really curry in the traditional sense but more like shrimp and scallops in a broth. I quite enjoyed the mango pisco.
Overall, it was a pretty good dining experience. It is a pretty small restaurant, so you may want to make reservations.
Favorite Dish: King crab appetizer - fresh, tasty

After strolling around Puerto Natales we decided to have diner in El Rincon del Tata. A small restaurant, located in the centre of town very close to the Plaza de Armas. It has a lot of nice decorations, some bench tables and all together a warm and cosy atmosphere with a friendly and helpful staff .
Staying in a harbour city we had one of the fish plates, but one can also get other dishes and even a pizza.
The food (and Chilean wine) was good and worth every peso.
Good food, a very good service, decoration with flag from all the countries asks for the salmon…..was great. Located in front of Plaza de armas (main Square).
Favorite Dish: The salmon

Dehydrated seafood and seaweed are part of the Patagonian cuisine culture, I found things that never had taste and to say the true was very good. They sell them dehydrated and they have strange name (Cholga, Luche, piure and nava)

A quite elegant restaurant, very good service and food, it is taken care of by its owner and her family.
Also it was my last hope in one night where I was dieing of hunger. They were almost closing and they let to me enter; I had a very good meals.
Excellent flavor and service, it is a mix of Mexican and vegetarian cuisine a very charming decoration, touch of mystic at the end of the word.

All over Southern Patagonia you see slabs of meat cooking over hot coals in the front window or signs displayed out in front .
Thay want you to know that they have plenty
of meat on their menu.
What we would like to know is where does their ham come from?
They serve a lot of ham here but we never saw a pig.
We were given a free Pesco Sour to be gotten at the bar of the hotel.
We decided to stay for dinner.
The food was very good and we didn't wait long to get it.
Favorite Dish: They have several vegeterian dishes on their menu. Those are very hard to find in Southern Chile.
They brought us a picate appetizer that they said was quite hot. It seemed pretty mild to us but very good.
We had a good meal and great Pesco Sours.
The ladies in the rerstaurant and bar spoke english, big help.
Puerto Natales is definately the place for eating sea food....itýs great! And quite cheap, considering the type of fish: salmon!!!
There are many sea food restaurants, for all kinds of tastes.... one good idea is to ask for advice from the guesthouse or hostel... many good restaurants are located along Av Pedro Montt.
"Los Viajeros" was recommended by our host...and we enjoyed it a lot... Itýs a simple restaurant, but the food is really good, and not expensive... the service is also very nice.
Favorite Dish: When you come back from Torres, after spending days eating beans, soup and macarroni...getting into one seafood restaurant is a great gastronomic experience.... =D
Some nice dishes are, of course, grilled salmon accompaining all sorts of sauces....and the "centollas"...huge red crabs, very typical....
The restaurant is located right on the waterfront and has a spectcular view.
Favorite Dish: Lomo with mushrooms and french fries. A very large piece of beef with mushrooms and a large portioin of french fries. A great meal after hiking for 5 days and eating mostly tuna.
