Listen to penguin talk in Seno Otway

Around Punta Arenas, two major colonies of Magallanes Penguins are located, one on Isla Magdalena, the other at Seno Otway.We have visited the Seno Otway colony, took a bus tour with Viento Sur (price per ticket: 10 USD + 2 USD entrance fee).It's fun to watch the penguins walking like Charlie Chaplin in groups towards the sea, eventually meeting groups that just come back from fishing - when they meet, the "group bosses" vigorously chatter for a while. You can almost hear them how they give the best tips for fishing grounds.Then one group gets back to the baby penguins for feeding, the other one hops into the sea for fishing :-)

You must think what a stupid "must see" tip - however, due to it's unique location, southern Patagonia provides stunning cloud formations.This one is called "La Reina de la Patagonia", and is usually announcing storm. The one in the picture is either alto- or stratocumulus, but lenticularis type.
