Unique Places in Región Metropolitana de Santiago

You went WHERE??? Why did you go THERE??? Those were the questions when I first went to Parque O'Higgins on a sunday and told my Chilean colleagues in the office. It's not really on the fancy side of town but it is a park not for watching but for living. And this is what a park needs, right? You see kids everywhere playing football with their grandparents, daddies carrying their little ones on the shoulders, lovers rolling over the lawn or people reading a book. That's a park, folks. By the way, I find this also from a visual point of view one of the nicest parks in the city. A quick escape to watch life and forget the big city stress.
