Al fresco: best peruvian food in santiago

  • It have been for several years the best Peruvian food in Santiago. If you see it, inside may be ,is not appealing, but the food is unvelibeble. The owner is a peruvian Chef Alfredo Aramburu, they use great ingredients, a lot of sea food.

    Try the filete a lo macho ( steak and seafood ), or the piqueo al fresco, or sample of appetizers, or tiradito al fresco ,( Peruvian stile of sashimi.) pisco sour is very good. If your are seeking for a southamerican culinary experience, this is the place.

  • This restaurant is located inside a Best western hotel in downtown Santiago. everithing inside is Indian, wallpaper, dishes, tables. food is very spicy and tasty.

    Lamb kebab with masala curry or shrim curry, Y really don´t remember what I´ve eat but everithing is very tasty.

  • This place serves simple but tasty Cuban food at a really good price! It's a Cuban bar which serves food and is a great place to eat and also to start a night out. At lunch time they do a "menu" for 1,200 pesos (about $2) - it's the best value food I could find in my year of living in Santiago. It's not gourmet, but its good. In the evening they don't have a "menu" but you can get good Cuban food for under 2,000 pesos (just over $3), I'd particularly recommend ropa vieja (shredded beef with rice and black beans). If you are there in the evening try their delicious mojitos. It also plays continuous Cuban salsa music and sometimes people dance in the evening!

    Ropa Vieja - simple but fills a hole, tastes good and is great value.

  • This restaurant ( marrocco style ) is really appealing nice set up, decoration very warm, Kitch. An awesome terrace, where you feell travelling to marroco, I have been there several times, always full of people, a lot of life. nice experience.

    Try Trilogia Zanzibar to taste the appetizers, tahine marroqui de cordero ( lamb ) very good,
