 | | | | estadio nacional: Concerts in the football station | Tip Rating: | | | | |
It has been the most wonderful concert I´ve ever been. In memory of Che Guevara some of the most famous singers came to Santiago to give a very special concert. The main act was SILVIO RODRIGUEZ, and this was amazing!!!! All the maybe 40000 people in the stadion knew the texts and did sing with him. Very very impressing.
one of Silvios songs, one of my favorites: Mi Unicornio Azul Silvio Rodriguez Mi unicornio azul ayer se me perdio, pastando lo deje y desaparecio. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

 | | | | Alto del Naranjo, on the trail... | Tip Rating: | | | | |
Alto del Naranjo, on the trail up to Cerro Provincia, at 1877 meters above sea level. An amazingly peaceful and almost out-of-this-world place: quiet, fragrant from country flowers and plants, snow-covered in winter, a great overlook to watch fireworks down at the city on special days or just to tumble down on the ground, covered by a blanket of stars, and see the Moon appear slowly from behind the massive Andean mountains (but if you go in winter, I recommend to add a tent or, at least,a good sleeping bag to that star blanket)
Casual, o'course. Typical dress code is mountaineers's gear: long sleeved shirt and pants in summer; parka, gloves, balaclava, PolarFleece pants, hiking boots and a warm sleeping bag in winter. In daytime in summer, shorts and t-shirt are fine.
