Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: When coming to Puerto Montt be aware of the fact that even though it might be the southern summer in December or january, it still might be quite windy and cold. In fact we had some fog every morning in that area, so it makes sense to have some warm clothings with you, when going there. Make sure that your hat has also a string in order to fix it on your neck !
Photo Equipment: In the modern shopping-centres of Puerto Montt you will find most of the photo-equipment you will be looking for !

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Pack a rain coat and be prepared to layer the weather is reminiscent to Seattle. The dampness of the ocean air can chill your bones at times.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you take the boat, you can get really sick, above all when the boat sails in the Pacific Ocean. Two pieces of advice : take some Mareamin tablets available in any local Farmacia (be careful, it makes you sleep) and don't eat too much (prefer drinking water).
Si vous prenez le bateau, vous pouvez avoir le mal de mer... Deux conseils : prenez Mareamin (se trouve dans toute Farmacia) et ne mangez pas trop !!
