What is a visit at a winery without a wine tasting? Yes, we DID it and the wines were really excellent. It does not wonder, when considering the nice surroundings .....
Favorite Dish:
They produce excellent Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, but the best one was "Don Maximiano" the cuvee, made from different grape varieties. But that my taste, so yours can be different. I personnaly prefer good wines which rich, sweet tannins and a very fruity taste.

We tasted and tasted ... and like at any wine tasting some time there is coming the highlight. In our case it was the premium wine of the winery the "Don Maximiano" , grown in the same named vineyard. The glasses were changed into better ones....
And it was no surprise that they brought glasses from an austrian manufacturer, Riedel from Kufstein in Tyrol. Robert Mondavi uses the same in his wineries in California.
And these two nice ladies asked if I could open the bottle. I did it ..... with pleasure of corse!
