Main Dining Room: Gastronomic orgy
The food at Portillo is just incredible. You'll be served a full continental breakfast, a 3 course lunch and dinner and a 5 o'clock tea. Waiters are very kind and will try to accomodate to all your needs making changes to the menu as you desire. At first it feels strange to stop skiing at noon and eat a shrimp cocktail and a filet mignon with mushrooms in a wine sauce but then you let them spoil you. Meals become a ceremony for most guests and the most enjoyable experience throughout the week.
Cafeteria: For skiers on a budget
If you stay at the Inca Lodge, your meals are served at the Cafeteria. Certainly the menu is simpler and more economical and it's a self serve restaurant. Prices here are cheaper than at the main dining room.
Tio Bob's: Lunch at the mountain
This slopeside restaurant offers great views of the Inca Lake and the mountains. Lunch at Tio Bob's includes barbecued meats, fishes and salads. This restaurant is open from 11am to 3pm. Guests who stay for a week at Portillo receive one free lunch at Tío Bob's.
