    Season: from June to September.

This is a great way to discover the Andinian areas of Chile.
You'll always have a lot of fun, and for sure you'll be breathless watching such incredible sceneries.
If you like adventure and outdoor activities, you can't miss a horse riding in Chile, from North to South!.

Depending on the tour you'll choose. It's always better to go with a guide, or you can desappear in the Andes!.

Fishing is the number one sport in Tierre del Fuego. Brown trout and rainbow trout can weigh up to 30 some pounds here. Rio Grande and Lago Blanco are the most sought after spots to fish but there are many other unspoiled rivers and lakes.
Several tour companies can make the arrangements for your fishing trip.

More than a "sport" Yoga is a discipline.
Many people who practice it, can do it everywhere. Here in Chile we have so many wonderful places for this!!, specially beaches and valleys.
Some other people feel better with an instructor or practicing it in a Yoga School.

There are a few different types of Yoga, so depending on your interests, you'll be partial to one of those.

    Some good web sites:

I have a wonderful instructor here in La Serena, her name is Carolina Silva, and you can reach her at: Tel.: 56-51-270 567

Skydiving is always a fun thing to do.
There are many clubs along Chile, where you can go and ask for it.

Chile is some of the best countries for rafting. We have numerous rivers in the South that offers you the chance for great adventure.
Futaleufu is one of the most incredible rivers you can find in Southern Chile (set in Patagonia). During February and March the river usually runs between 6.000 and 20.000 cfs.

Chile's coast offers exceptional diving, so from North to South you can dive in almost every beach.
Easter Island is also great place to dive ;o)

If you're used to scuba diving, then you know what to bring, if you don't, better if you ask for diving instructors or clubs.

    Cajón del Maipo
The canyon of the Río Maipo is southeast of Santiago, and easily accessible by public transport. It's a beautiful place where you can do camping, hiking, climbing and whitewater rafting.

    Portillo and Valle Nevado
this are Chile's most famous ski resorts and the site of several downhill speed records. Altitudes range from 2590m to 3330m on 11 runs, the longest of which is 1.4km (just under a mile). The resort is a short distance from the Chilean customs post, on the trans-Andean highway to Mendoza and 152km from Santiago. Hotels offer a range of services, from ski schools to babysitters, and more moderately priced accommodation can be found below the snow line at Los Andes. The season runs from June to early October.

    National Park Torres del Paine
Near Chile's fragmented southern tip, this park is a world biosphere reserve with all the diverse scenery you can imagine. The Torres del Paine are spectacular granite pillars which soar almost vertically for more than 2000m above the Patagonian steppe. Cascading waterfalls, sprawling glaciers, dense forests, and the chance to see Patagonian guanaco make it a truly awesome experience.

In a shortly way, Chile's abundance of natural parks offer great trekking opportunities, particularly the Parque Nacional La Campana (easily accessible from Santiago), Parque Nacional Laguna del Laja, Parque Nacional Villarrica and Parque Nacional Puyehue. The Parque Nacional Torres del Paine is a hiker's paradise, with a well-developed trail network and opportunities for cross-country trekking. Pucón in the Lake District attracts adventurous travelers who enjoy climbing, river rafting, mountain biking and horseback riding. Climbing trips to Volcán Osorno are also popular. Just outside Santiago, the resorts of Valle Nevado and Portillo provide excellent skiing. Or if you like to Fishing, you can do it in our beautiful southern lakes. And if you like the desert, you can do "Sandboard" in the dunes.
