YOU WILL NEED TO WATCH WHAT YOU EAT. WHY? BECAUSE THE FOOD IS THAT GOOD, YOU WILL GO NUTTS. MY FRIEND STEVE, THE CHEF WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE LOCAL PRODUCE. MY FATHER PUT ON 5 KILOS IN TWO WEEKS. SO I HAVE WARNED YOU. THE FOOD IS ADDICTIVE. Leave a Comment

pick pockets. It is a pretty safe place. I wouldn't suggest ordering salads in most places, since you cannot guarantee the cleanliness of the water used to water the lettuce. The police in Chile are typically extremely honest and will be very offended if you try to bribe them (bribe away in Argentina, in fact, it will probably be expected if you get pulled over). Get used to people staring at you. The do it to each other and REALLY do it to anyone that looks slightly different. For woman, get ready to have the guys make a lot of comments and noises. If you are relying on getting across the Channel on the Ferry at a specific time DONT. Due to changable weather condtions (especially strong winds) the Ferry crossing may be closed.
