You can do sport fishing in the Tomo, Tuparro and Orinoco River, trekking and photography. This Park has a large variety of bird species, more or less 320 species that include guans, curassows, screamers, eagles and ducks.

You should visit the Maipures and Tuparro torrents, the path around the Maipures place, Blue Lagoon near the Administrative Centre, Pedro Camejo Island, Tomo, Tuparro and Tuparrito rivers and the indigenous communities, Sikuanis, piapocos, puinaves, piaroas, curripacos and cubeos in 16 Indian reserves. The sport fishing is permitted in the Park and is very interesting because exists a large variety of fishes in the Tuparro, Orinoco and Tomo rivers.

Favorite thing: Visit “El Tuparro” National Park is in general terms a meeting with the nature, beautiful landscapes and a large biodiversity where you can find many species in natural conditions, for example , mammals of the savanna include white-tailed deer, giant armadillo, small savanna armadillo, tapir and dog fox. Peccaries, pumas, jaguars and different species of monkeys inhabit the woodlands. Birds include guans, curassows, screamers, eagles and ducks, capybaras, Orinoco crocodile, caiman and turtles are found along the shores of the rivers, which abound with fish including piranha and electric eel.
