El Gato Negro is a very nice restaurant in Parque 93, across the park from Cafe Renault.
Good food, expensive for Colombian standards-I payed (January 2011) around 50 euros for a large lunch for 2 including some glasses of wine.
The ambience was really nice during our visit with a live band playing latin music. The service was adequate although when we asked to speak to the manager, the waiter just obviously grabbed another waiter and brought him over. The meal started on a good note with good mojitos. The opinion of the mojitos changed on the second round. Looks like someone else made them because they tasted totally diferent. The appetizers were mixed with a salad that included raw calamari rings. Our meals were pretty bad. The ropa vieja was good but the fish and the chicken came out cold.
Favorite Dish: Ropa vieja.
At the 93rd park you can find great variety of restaurants, caffes, pubs and discos.
Excellent servcies, with an excellent location around a beautifull small park.
If you rent a car you can find easily a place to park it without any risk, or you can stay in a hotel nearby so you can go back walking.
