Plaza Bolivar and its cloe surrounding is also home to many of the Govt. Ministries. During my walk around this place my daypack was searched (just as a normal security check and no questioning).

At the other end from the Plaza Bolivar within La Candelaria, I saw this colorful church with an interior that matches the color outside. Entrance free for all churches in the old town.

The old town is relatively a larger area and to walk around it takes time. That's why apart from taxi, smaller colectivos operate in the area.

The old town does not have many plaza or square in it. But here one I found while walking around in the morning and it seems like this is preserved and lead to the narrower streets of the old town.
