This is an amazing place. Its about 3 hours drive from Bogota. Two of those hours are on dirt tracks. I travelled by car in Easter. What greeted me was amazing. The whole town was decked out with flowers. There is only one hotel and the town is quiet small. A parade took place because Colombians are very religious and because this was the yearly Easter festival. During this festival the town comes alive, everyone takes part, its like a small procession going through the town, with people holding the cross and school children in their best holding flowers and praying. It really is a wonderful site to behold. Tenza is famous for baskets, and handcrafts.
