Parque Artesanal Loma de la Cruz is located in the most traditional part of the city. Little shops and stands line the streets around Loma de la Cruz, making it the best place to buy traditional handicrafts and other locally made inexpensive goods. More than 60 artists and craftsmen exhibit their creations, everything from paintings, music instruments, hammocks, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, wood carvings and many more. In some shops there are workrooms where you can watch craftsmen at work.
Loma de la Cruz is a place for meetings, street theatre and live concerts. I was in Cali during Feria de Cali and then the concerts were almost every day. There are places where you can get delicious empanadas, obleas and champu (a thick drink made of pineapple, local fruit lulo, corn and other ingredients). It is very colourful and attractive place, and from there it is magnificent view of the city and Cerro de las Tres Cruces
There is a legend Mano del Negro (The Black Hand) connected to Loma de la Cruz. Over five centuries ago, it was here that a black slave was unjustly killed. The legend says that if you pass through the area late at night, you will see his hand emerge from the ground. Well, I tried to avoid this to happen;)
What to buy: paintings, music instruments, hammocks, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, wood carvings and many more
What to pay: very affordable

Address: Calle 5 between Carreras 14 and 16
It is normal in Cali to think of a shopping mall as a touristic place. Most of them are built like urban boulevards, with open-air walking corridors that look like a 'Main Street' side walk. With large facilities providing full amenities, Caleños love just talking walks in them, enjoying the fact that everything is at their hands.
What to buy: There is clothing stores, coffe places, restaurants, movies, bars, and even a Casino!!
