It is a typical restaurant not very formal but very famous in Bucaramanga because it food. If you want to go here for lunch and find some table for that, you should arrive very early, near to the midday because people in this city use to go there with their family and friends. If you arrive after that hour you may be have to wait 20 minutes or more doing a line

This place is also close to Hotel Morgan, just next to. They have a bakery which means you can get fresh bread for breakfast (and during the rest of the day). I had a big coffee and three breads (tasted like scones) for breakfast and it was 2300 pesos. Later the same day I had a big fresh fruit salad for 3500 pesos. They also serve hot dogs, eggs and a few alternatives for lunch.
I didn't see many other cafeterias around as most shops in this area are clothes and textile shops.

After arriving in Bucaramanga I was very hungry and Pasteleria Berna was very convenient situated just across the street from my hotel. Besides a lot of different breads and cakes they also have things like hamburgers, toast and eggs.
A hamburger with french fries and a fresh orange juice is 5700 pesos and a piece of ice cream cake 1900 pesos (July 2007). The hamburgers are quite small but good and you can also get one with pinapple.
