Perfect waves. Little bay with difficult access to water. Only to be surfin at high tide, the bottom of the bay is bout 2-3 feet away and made up of coral. Outside the bay, the depth goes in one drop to a couple of hundred feet deep. Quite a lot of local surfers (bout 5 or 6). watertemperature bout 28 °C. Possible to have a couple of sealions pulling your string or joining for the waveride.
Equipment: I'm not sure you can rent surfstuff, but if you're getting high of looking at the waves, maybe check out the Casa Blanca restaurant, annex discotheque, in front of the town peer. The three sons are surfers and top class guys. If somebody rents stuff, they'll know.

The island of San Cristobal is about an hour and twenty minutes by air from Guayaquil. Dive boats and island hoppers use the port at the town of Baquerizo Moreno .
