Favorite thing: When you pass through the lobby and enter into the rear courtyard, you are entering into a very tranquil spot, with nice plants and flowers and a fountain in the center. There is even a small chapel off to the side.
The whole thing works because it's beautiful without being overly manicured and well-tended. The paint is chipping in places and the building shows its age. The garden's plants are cared for, but by the looks of things, by one old guy who can't quite keep up enough to keep things perfect - and that's what makes it nice.

Favorite thing: We travelled with our own bus. Coming from Maquipucuna we travelled to the South.
In Lasso we stopped to sleep in an old Hacienda.
We were very impressed when our bus turned left from the main road in order to drive to the Hacienda. The entrance was along long lane with two rows of trees on both sides and at the end we could see a glimpse of the old white Hacienda.
Fondest memory: the historical scenery, the beautiful garden
