The center of Zaruma consists of a large main square and an adjacent church. The views are outstanding, and at the west end of the main square a local tourist office provides a number of lodging options. Taxi takes us to Peruvian immigration
Stop in Huaquillas to change money. Guy in briefcase shortchanges us, then gives us many fake bills.
Otherwise hustler was a help, but could have done it on our own. Beware the money changers. Better to find a Casa de Cambio.
