Favorite thing: We booked a private trip to the crafts towns in a Cuenca travel agency. It takes from 9 to 15-16:00. You visit 2 towns; home visit to a family that weaves scarfs that are sold to tourists, a orchid farm, visit the local market, a smal museum on the crafts, stroll along side the river where the locals do their washing, have picnics etc...
It's very relaxed and offers a nice view into the daily life in the smaller towns.
